In the digital age of screens, screens, and more screens, our eyes take in a lot of light. This can lead to eye strain and even damages sometimes, and companies have tried to develop ways to work around this. One thing that a lot of apps do is invoke a “dark mode”, where the normally light colors are replaced by dark ones, making it easier on the eyes both at night and in general. Though not everyone uses dark mode, its presence in digital technology with screens has only increased. There’s been some requests for IWSMT to have a dark mode as well, and although it’s not here yet at the time of this post, I can absolutely promise you that it will be soon!
