Cats make the world go round, mainly because they’re too busy running around going crazy on it. My own cat probably could generate enough energy to power my home minus my computer! The internet also reflects this reality, as funny cat videos and funny cat pictures have been around just as long. Even the way cat people act online is the same as they did before the internet! Needless to say, these little creatures are infinite fountains of entertainment, and we’re all lucky for that. So there’s never really a bad time to waste some time with funny cat memes!
Ember Tax
In other news, this weekend we had a chipmunk friend break into our home. We were able to trap it in one of our bathrooms, and we put Ember inside to…”deal with it”, since at the time I didn’t have any good containers to capture it alive. Ember had previously gotten a mouse, so we assumed that she’d probably play with it a bit and then end up with another victim of the talents I’ve been training her to have.
Instead, she and the chipmunk literally just stared at each other, until she started begging to be let out. We let her stay for a few more minutes but after a while, it was clear that for whatever reason, Chippy was a friend not even to be swatted at.
She didn’t do her job, but whatever, we got rid of the chipmunk and patched in the potential access points it got in through.
She still has the audacity to complain when her food is 0.000000000000001s late, though.
