For those of us raised in countries where English is the primary language, there’s an incredible chance that you don’t speak a second language, or at least not well. Reaping the benefits of English-speaking privilege, we’ve lived in ignorance of the world around us as it struggled to cater to us. But with the internet, shifting economies, and more, the importance of bilingually and cross-regional understanding is only growing!
