There are lots of people in this large world, and with that has come a lot of languages to boot. Different ways to communicate with each other and share ideas and information, and different sounds to represent written characters. 40% of the world speaks only one language, whereas the rest know at least two! In North America, people tend to be monolingual since there’s a lot less pressure from nearby regions to learn another language, even if you have an official second language in your country. That being said, no one is perfect, and even though most of the world does speak more than 1 language, they can still make mistakes! Luckily, those mistakes can be entertaining, and provide the perfect opportunity to waste so much time!
