Working in security, whether as a bouncer, bodyguard, mall cop, or private security, is an often under-appreciated job. While a good solid amount of gigs lead to uneventful boring nights protecting some random rich person’s things, they can also be incredibly dangerous, active, or community-focused too! The stereotype of “wannabe cop” or security officers having power trips is sometimes accurate, but for the most part it just tends to be medium/big people who need a job and don’t mind standing still, dull moments, or sleepless nights. So why not waste some time with them in the way they waste the time of their boring shifts?
