Languages are hard. With thousands of languages existing in the world, humans have strived to communicate with each other effectively throughout many different cultures. Each language has specific or unique words for certain things, and some have words that don’t even translate to other languages. English is the most commonly spoken language in the world, though a good part of that is probably North American’s refusal to learn another language or “lack of necessity” to learn another “business language”. With a language that draws many different words form different root languages, English has a bunch of…interesting words. Words that may not even be used anymore, or rarely at all, but are still just as valid as all the rest! So I figured why not waste some time with these unique words you may not know!
