As far as this author is concerned, jeans are incredibly comfortable clothes to wear on your legs. And lots of people like wearing them, whether to complete an outfit or just have all-purpose pants to wear any day of the week. Some people take the denim dynasty too far though, and deranged denim demons can take many shapes and forms. Jean jackets get a pass, though, at least for Canadians.
