Wordle has such humble beginnings. Started during quarantine by Josh Wardle to keep his wife entertained, the free-to-play game quickly went viral. After proving it was not just a trend, the New York Times bought Wordle for six figures. Everyone thought at that moment that the game would lose its charm. Well, it hasn’t. Wordle is just as strong as ever and has even inspired several popular spin-offs, most notably Quordle.
